How to Join

All applications are subject to review and approval by the Executive Committee of NWIHA

Category 1:   Voting Members

The following entities are eligible for full voting membership:

1. Indian Housing Authorities
2. Tribally-Designated Housing Entities (TDHEs)
3. Tribes that have not designated a TDHE and are authorized recipients of grants for Indian Housing from HUD

Dues are $750.00 per calendar year.

Category 2:   Individual Members

Individuals may apply to become non-voting members.

Dues are $50.00 per calendar year.

Category 3:   Associate Members

Public interest groups, businesses and other entities, including Federally-recognized tribes not otherwise eligible for voting membership, may apply to become non-voting Associate Members.
